MOUSE Announces Winner of 2001 Digital Newspaper Contest

New York, NY; May 22, 2001- MOUSE, Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools and Education, (www.mouse.org) announced the winners for the 2001 Digital Newspaper Contest, honoring New York City public high schools in the creation of on-line student newspapers. The award for “Best Overall” was presented to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School’s New Dealer. Teammates included Leo Mernenko, Stan Schmulevich, Muhammed Khan, Adam Bednarek, Oleg Lysyak, Mohammed Shabbir, and faculty advisor, Nadine Bower.
