MOUSE Launches New Website with a focus on Student Stories
With a focus on MOUSE stories from our students and educators, MOUSE launched its new website in June. The new site provides updated information on our programs, partners and research on the impact of MOUSE. Take a look at www.mouse.org and visit often for the latest news about MOUSE programs, events and most importantly – our students!
MOUSE is pleased to announce that it has received a $75,000 Innovation Generation grant from the Motorola Foundation. The Motorola Foundation's Innovation Generation grants support programs that engage students in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) to build the confidence and skills they need for success both now and in the long-term. read more ›
On May 8th, MOUSE was honored to have City Council Speaker Christine Quinn announce the significant results of a multi-year study by Fordham University National Center for Schools and Communities. This event was held at Access, one of our MOUSE Squad schools. read more ›

With a team of diverse youth development specialists, MOUSE has redesigned its MOUSE Squad training format to encourage participatory, project-based learning and team building. Many new and exciting activities were debuted on February 28th with 45 students in attendance from 7 schools in New York and Connecticut. read more ›
On April 30th, MOUSE held its Fifth Annual Educators Conference located at the Time Inc. Conference Center. Over 70 MOUSE Squad coordinators from New York City, Chicago and California and other members of the education technology community came together to attend a full day of workshops, community building and celebration. read more ›
On February 2nd, MOUSE released exciting enhancements to the www.mousesquad.org site. This website facilitates communication and collaboration, as well as features creative work for MOUSE students and educators. read more ›
MOUSE Corps provides pathways for students to enhance their skills and career readiness. This year, MOUSE Corps students participated in Job Shadowships at several MOUSE partners, including: EMI, Sullivan & Cromwell, and Time Inc. read more ›

UnPlugged Events provide opportunities for MOUSE Squad students from New York City to join other Squads around shared interests and to connect students' skills and enthusiasm to topics beyond the help desk. During the last few months, New York MOUSE Squads have participated in many exciting events, including ComicCon and US First Robotics Competition. read more ›
MOUSE Squad of California held its Spring Summit, where MOUSE Squad instructors shared best practices. This event was the culmination of an exciting year of expansion to 60 schools, including seven in Southern California, and field trips to Cisco's Tech Center and Electronic Arts. read more ›
The Abilene Independent School District MOUSE Squad in Texas spent a week in early June attending a Computer Boot Camp. The West Texas campus of Texas State Technical College provided training for more than thirty participants in A+ certification. read more ›
