Mouse Creative Computing Lab

IMPORTANT UPDATE!

In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, all planned in-person Creative Computing Lab events are cancelled. We are reaching out to everyone pre-registered with any additional information we have. We may be able to offer digital alternatives but it is still too early to say. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope you stay healthy and stay safe in these uncertain times.

In the meantime, if you are looking for creative computing activities to do in your home, check out projects.mouse.org for ideas of things you can do on your own with a computer!

Welcome to the Mouse Creative Computing Lab! Events at the lab are the perfect opportunity for learners of all ages to interact, experiment, and engage in STEM, design and computing activities which blend digital/analog tools and experiences.

No prior experience in tech or making is required, in fact it is encouraged! Events at our lab are free and open to everyone. These events bring together students and professional coders, crafters, designers, artists, gamers, and more from all over NYC.

What is the Creative Computing Lab?

The Mouse Creative Computing Lab is a space for innovation and experimentation at Mouse HQ in NYC. By playing with a variety of digital, analog and environmental inputs and outputs, the lab will be a place where youth and adult experts can design and explore interactive computing together at free learning events throughout the school year.

* We sometimes make exceptions for enthusiastic learners outside the recommended ages for events. Please reach out to alex@mouse.org with any questions.

Do I have to bring anything?

Only a signed consent form.

We'll provide all the materials you need, including pizza. Bring a project of your own if you have one.

Where do these events take place?

All above events are held at Mouse HQ in the Financial District in Manhattan:

Mouse
55 Broad Street
16th floor
New York City
