Sarah Maldonado,
Senior Program Manager, Design League DIIT
Sarah is the Senior Program Manager for the DIIT Design League Partnership Program. She has continued to reinvent herself in the field of education – from formal math teacher, to informal environmental and outdoor educator, to natural history and science manager, to general after school director, to educational consultant. Her last metamorphosis led her to Mouse, coaching teachers as they teach students about technology and design. She has been guided through these changes by her identity as a strongly-opinionated woman who is systems-focused and a people-centered manager.
She earned an MPS in Environmental Education and Interpretation from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), and a BA in Secondary Math Education from CUNY Queens College.
