Mouse microprojects are monthly small challenges in an online competition format, where any learners are encouraged to get creative using various web tools and media technology. It is available on both Mouse Create and Mouse Open Projects.

Mouse microprojects are released throughout each school year, covering a wide range of topics including creating your own avatar or font, 3D models of an existing artwork, and many more. Each microproject generally features a tutorial for the recommended tool to use but learners are recommended to use any platforms they prefer.
Each microproject features a different challenge for learners to be able to complete on their own. Microprojects previously released includes:
Jingle Jam
In collaboration with the creative team at Wick Editor, this microproject challenges students to explore a lesser known game genre called a Hidden Object. This microproject will require students to design new or use existing templates to setup the game and then use Javascript to make the game interactive.

Hidden Object Gamer
In collaboration with the creative team at Wick Editor, this microproject challenges students to explore a lesser known game genre called a Hidden Object. 2D-to-3D Modeler
This Microproject challenges students to make a 3D model representation of a 2D artwork. Featuring the 3D making tool, Tinkercad, students will identify a famous piece of artwork, use abstraction, and make their unique interpretation of artwork using basic shapes.

BrainPOP Creative Coding
Back in November 2018, BrainPOP and Mouse have partnered to hold a competition celebrating the Hour of Code and Computer Science Education Week. This microproject challenged students to design an interactive comic or meme about one of 12 topics using BrainPOP's Creative Coding with Vidcode.
