Experienced Finance Executive Amanda O'Donnell Joins Mouse Board of Directors

NEW YORK, January 6, 2016 – Mouse, a national youth development nonprofit that empowers students to create with technology and make meaningful change, announced today that Amanda O’Donnell, Senior Vice President, Finance, at Intersection, a technology and media company focused on improving life in cities, has joined its Board of Directors.

“We are thrilled to welcome Amanda to our Board,” said Amy Kadomatsu, Chair, Mouse Board of Directors. “Amanda brings tremendous experience in managing innovative businesses and is passionate about bridging digital divides and increasing diversity in STEM.”

Ms. O’Donnell recently joined the executive team at Intersection, which is the result of merger between Control Group and Titan, a key member of the team behind LinkNYC, a first-of-its-kind communication network that, once fully deployed, will replace the city’s existing payphone infrastructure and bring the world’s largest and fastest free municipal Wi-Fi network to millions of New York residents and visitors.

During her time at Control Group as Partner and Chief Financial Officer, Ms. O’Donnell played an integral role in managing the company’s operations since its founding. In her work at Control Group, Ms. O’Donnell developed financial and operational strategies that enabled the company’s transformation from startup to industry leader.

Ms. O’Donnell is especially dedicated to increasing the presence of women in the technology field. At Control Group, she led the company’s Women in Technology initiative and established Control Group as a founding partner of Women in Tech NYC.

Ms. O’Donnell graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Environmental Science and is currently pursuing a degree in the NYU-Wagner Executive Masters program.
