Best Buy Awards $200K Grant to Mouse

We are thrilled to receive a $200K grant from Best Buy, a longtime partner whose support has made a tremendous impact on thousands of young people involved in Mouse.

This generous grant will bring our Mouse Create platform and learning events to new sites and Best Buy Teen Tech Centers across the country.  This funding will also support our enhancing our learning content in wearable technology, circuitry, and electronics.

Exciting Updates to Mouse Create!

Our Learning Design team just released new updates to our Mouse Create learning platform! These include using our site on mobile devices, enhancing navigation and making it easier to manage groups of students. Read more >

We are also very excited to have more than 7,000 youth and educators on Mouse Create!

NYC Educators Create, Code, and Design @ Mini-Con

Our thanks to the Mouse educators that joined us for our first Winter Mini-Con!

At this professional development event, educators learned to code in JavaScript, remixed games with Scratch, created circuits, and designed projects in 3D. See photos >


Inspired by Design at the Cooper Hewitt Museum

Mouse Design League members experienced the world of design at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

After touring current exhibits, Design League members brainstormed their technology projects with mentors and individuals from UCP of NYC , then created prototypes of their projects designed to use technology as a force for good. See photos >

Arrow Electronics Features Mouse in Corporate Responsibility Report

We are honored that Mouse was featured by Arrow Electronics in their Corporate Responsibility Report: 

"Thanks to a unique partnership with Arrow and CBS EcoMedia, Mouse is exploring how best to use smart fabrics/e-textiles (“wearables”) as part of its STEM programming for middle and high school students."
