IBM Marketing Executive Rashmy Chatterjee Joins Mouse Board of Directors
NEW YORK, April 27, 2016 - Mouse, a national youth development nonprofit that empowers students to use technology as a force for good, announced today that Rashmy Chatterjee, Chief Marketing Officer, IBM North America, has joined its Board of Directors.

"Rashmy brings a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, digital, branding and partnership development to Mouse. She is passionate about empowering youth through technology and closing the diversity gap in STEM."
Ms. Chatterjee leads marketing and communications for IBM in North America. In this role, she is responsible for promoting the client experience, the IBM brand, and marketing IBM solutions.
Previously, Ms. Chatterjee held leadership positions in IBM's Security Systems Division as the executive responsible for the integration of Q1Labs, a Security Intelligence company, and as the sales leader for the Security division's North America business.
Prior to moving to the U.S., Ms. Chatterjee held multiple positions in IBM's Growth Markets Unit. She was IBM Software Sales leader for all Southeast Asian nations, India, and South Asia (ASEAN/ISA) and later had business responsibility for IBM channels, digital sales and geographic expansion in that region.
Before joining IBM, Ms. Chatterjee served as Deputy Director of Naval Design in the Indian Navy where she was responsible for setting up the nation's first Warship CAD/CAM center. She received a commendation by the President ofIndia for this effort. She is a strong advocate for women in technology, having been the first female engineer to serve in the Indian Navy.

Ms. Chatterjee graduated with an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology. She lives in New York City with her husband. They have two adult children, a daughter who is a lawyer and a son who is an engineer.
