Mouse Receives Generous Grants from Con Edison, SAP, and UBS!
Mouse greatly appreciates the recent support of three valued supporters: Con Edison, SAP and UBS!
A valued partner since 2000, Con Edison has generously granted $23,000 to support Mouse Squads in four schools this year. This funding will continue the support of last year’s sponsored schools, The Paula Hedbavny School and P.S. 18 Park Terrace School, and provide additional funding for two new schools: I.S. 392 and Ebbets Field Middle School. This funding will also support Mouse’s 15th Anniversary event this spring.
Supporting Mouse for the first time last year, SAP has renewed its support of Mouse with a $30,000 grant. This past October, SAP hosted a Business Basics Workshop for our Mouse Corps members, where students had the opportunity to develop essential career readiness skills to prepare them for success in their future professional work environments.
Another longtime partner of Mouse and investing close to $600,000 since 2001, UBS has awarded Mouse with a $35,000 grant in support of our programs in Chicago and NYC Public Schools. In addition to its financial support, UBS has hosted meaningful internship and shadowship opportunities for Mouse students, giving them valuable insight into the use of technology in the workplace.
We truly appreciate Con Edison, SAP, and UBS’s contribution to Mouse. Their ongoing support has allowed Mouse to provide innovative youth development programs that engage and inspire students, while offering much needed technical support in our public schools.
