Cooler days, longer nights, changing leaves, and most importantly, Halloween!

This October, we asked you to create a spooky instrumental song to celebrate Halloween and the arrival of Autumn. We received a number of songs ranging from futuristic and experimental to truly scary. Thanks to everyone for sending your amazing songs!

Grand Prize

Winning our grand prize is Quad - OS - A Random Song #4 created by Amar M from Halsey in Queens, NY. We thought this song showed a willingness to experiment and try new sounds while still keeping a consistent feel and theme running through the whole song. Congrats Amar M!

Runner Up

Our 1st Runner Up this month is Scary Song by Mya W. Mya did an excellent job not only composing a great song but also got some frightening instrumental sounds in it. Great job Mya W!

Our 2nd Runner Up this month is My Song 5 by Ayanle. This song felt bright and expansive! We enjoyed how modern this song sounded and liked its overall giddiness. Congrats Ayanle!
