Thanks to Best Buy, CME Group, and Pinkerton Foundation
Mouse is honored to receive $215,000 from Best Buy, CME Group Foundation and The Pinkerton Foundation. We are thrilled to receive support from each of these continued partnerships.
A long-time supporter of Mouse, Best Buy has awarded $100,000 to further develop Mouse programs. This funding will support new Mouse learning content, including 2D/3D design and web literacy.
In addition, this funding from Best Buy will support the continued development of Mouse curriculum for Best Buy Teen Tech Centers, Geek Squad Academy, and Computer Clubhouses as well as training sessions and materials for Best Buy Teen Tech center staff.
“Best Buy has supported Mouse since 2003 and leveraged its curriculum in our Geek Squad Academy and Teen Tech Center programs for the past two years,” said Susan Bass Roberts, Senior Director of Community Relations, Best Buy. “This is an impressive organization that shares our goal of giving youth opportunities to develop 21st-century skills to become future innovators in our digitally connected world.”
For the third year, The Pinkerton Foundation has awarded Mouse $40,000 to support the Mouse Design League program. With this funding, Mouse will continue developing our digital portfolio and credentials and also create a new Design League program kit, which will help us to replicate Design League to new locations across the country.
We are incredibly grateful to receive this generous support from Best Buy, CME Group Foundation, and The Pinkerton Foundation. This support will enable Mouse to develop curriculum and expand programs for students and educators across the country.
