March Microproject: 2D-to-3D Modeler

For this month’s Microproject, we challenge you to create a 3D model of your favorite work of art using free 3D drawing software online. Check out this example of a 3D version of the “Girl with Balloon” mural by the graffiti artist Banksy:

Get Started

Find the 2D-to-3D Modeler Microproject on Mouse Create and follow the steps. When you are done, share the link to your 3D model and submit the project to your group. Don’t forget to enter the raffle on the last step to see if you win this month’s $25 gift card!

About Microprojects

Microprojects are bite-sized challenges for students to get creative with free web tools and media technology. Mouse will release Microprojects throughout the school year that cover a wide range of topics and skills.

How to Enter the Microproject Raffle:

  • Complete the Microproject challenge on Mouse Create
  • Enter your information on the Raffle form (linked on the last step of the Microproject).
  • You can only enter the raffle once per Microproject.

The raffle winner will be chosen at random at the end of the month. Before they are announced, Mouse will confirm that the student submitted their work correctly (and thoughtfully) on Mouse Create.
