Registration is officially open for the 10th annual Emoti-Con!

Emoti-Con is NYC’s biggest showcase for young designers, makers, technologists, and tinkerers who believe in digital innovation as a tool for positive change in the world around them. 200+ students network with peers and professionals, and share digital media and technology projects that showcase a range of interest areas and address pressing issues.  Bring a project to present or register as a guest.

Meet this year’s Keynote Speakers:

Dr. Amon Millner

We are excited to announce that our first Keynote Speaker for this year’s event will be Dr. Amon Millner, Assistant Professor of Computing and Innovation at Olin College of Engineering.  He’ll share his work empowering communities to make change through technology, co-creating the Scratch programming language, and establishing maker spaces and fab labs.  His full bio is available on Emoti-Con.org.   

Nafiza Akter

Nafiza Akter is an Educational Technology Specialist working in the Provost's Office at Teachers College, Columbia University. Nafiza will share stories about her work as a high school leader in the Global Kids-UNICEF program doing 3D design and human rights advocacy. Her full bio is available on Emoti-Con.org.
