Mouse Half-day PD: Intro to Design

When: Friday, April 13, 2018 from 8:30am-12pm
Where: Global Learning Collaborative, 145 West 84 Street, New York, NY 10024
Who: Educators from across NYC!
What Else?: Mouse will provide breakfast for all attendees.

The Intro to Design Mouse Create Course gives youth the skills they need to begin creating original graphics, visual displays, animations, and models. Students learn the essential elements to consider when engaging in graphic and 3D design. They use color wheels to choose color schemes, practice design layout techniques, and create an original typeface. They also learn how to draw shapes and objects in 3D and to create models in 3D CAD (computer-assisted design) software.

City Council member Helen Rosenthal is supporting this PD, which will be held at Global Learning Collaborative on Friday, April 13, from 8:30am-12pm.

The half-day PD will feature hands-on workshops led by Mouse staff, opportunities to network with other Mouse Educators, and breakfast will be served.
