Mouse deeply appreciates receiving generous funding from new and returning partners.  This funding will support enhancements to our Mouse Create learning platform and new opportunities for youth to create with technology.

Wearable Technologies

Arrow Electronics, a new partner of Mouse, has awarded $57,000 to support our developing new content in wearable technologies, which will introduce youth to embedded, programmable wearable fashions and smart textiles

Emoti-Con Digital Media and Technology Challenge

For the second year, Capital One has awarded Mouse $25,000 in support of Emoti-Con NYC, our annual Digital Media and Technology Challenge that unites NYC youth around technology and social change.

Supporting Mouse Students Across NYC

The New York City Council has generously awarded $409,000 to support Mouse students across all five boroughs. This funding was generously awarded by City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito and eleven Council Members. We were also very pleased to receive $80,000 through the Digital Inclusion and Literacy Initiative.

Our thanks to returning partner SAP for their $25,000 grant, which will support Mouse at Business Technology Early College High School (BTECH) and our Design League program, and Con Edison for awarding Mouse $23,500 to bring Mouse to four schools and support our Emoti-Con event.

Through partnerships with the Hive Digital Media Learning Fund, Mouse will receive funding to support Movable Game Jams, hosted by Mouse Learning Design staff and many Hive Learning Network partners, which are free and open to all NYC middle and high school students.

With thanks to these supporters, Mouse will continue to open opportunities for students across the country to build the skills needed to apply technology creatively to make a positive impact in the world around them.
