Mouse's mission
Mouse is a youth development nonprofit that strives to achieve racial justice and equity in computer science education and tech employment. Founded in NYC in 1997, schools across the country use our online products while our hands-on work continues to focus on the thousands of students Mouse trains in low-income neighborhoods of NYC.

Job Summary:
The Development Administrator is responsible for compiling, uploading, and tracking funding applications for Mouse’s City Council government applications. Mouse applies for funding from all 51 City Council Districts. The Development Administrator will be responsible for streamlining this process. This process is highly detailed and time-sensitive.
Development Administrator will receive training on how to complete applications prior to start.
This is a temporary position with approximately 10 - 12 hours a week. There is potential for continued hourly work.
Start date: Early December 2022
End date: February 2023 with potential for extension
Responsibilities Include:
With the assistance of the Development Director, compile all applications and supplementary applications on corresponding website portals.
Ensure all applications are submitted in a timely manner and before deadline.
Maintain an organized list of application progress to ensure the Development Director is up to date with application status at all times.
Communicate any and all updates on application statuses to Development Director in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
Commitment to accuracy, highly organized, excellent attention to detail, highly efficient and conscientious with thorough follow-up.
Impeccable spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
Able to handle confidential information and maintain high confidentiality.
High degree of initiative, self-motivated, and resourceful.
Experience with Google Suite required.
Knowledge of database management and experience with Salesforce preferred.
Propensity to learn about non-profit fundraising preferred.
Passion for youth empowerment and fostering greater diversity in STEM fields.
