Love designing games? Interested in games & play that break free of screens and cards?  Enjoy activities that encourage you to run around, get physical or explore the world?  Then join us for the Come Out & Play Playtest Picnic on July 8.

Game Design Workshop

On July 8, from 1-3 PM, in Prospect Park, we’ll hold a short game design workshop focused on designing physical and social games that can be showcased at this year’s Come Out & Play Festival on July 21 & 22.  We’ll cover the basics of physical game design and work with teams to design, playtest and iterate game ideas.  This workshop is open to kids ages 12-18.

 If you wind up making a game you love, we’d welcome you to share it with the world at the Come Out & Play Festival this year.

Open Playtest

Then from 3-5 PM, we’ll work with a group of designers already slated to bring their games to the Come Out & Play Festival to playtest their games and yours.
