Mouse Honored As Nonprofit Partner at Gartner ITxpo
The Gartner Symposium/ITxpo is recognized as the world’s most important gathering of CIOs and senior IT executives. Mouse was honored to have been selected for the second year to be one of Gartner’s nonprofit partners during Gartner ITxpo 2015!
During Gartner ITxpo, hundred of attendees stopped by the Mouse Makerspace to see firsthand how Mouse empowers youth to create with technology and to make a positive impact in their schools and communities.

Many attendees stopped by to compete in our daily “Build a Turbine” challenge, where they created their own turbine, one of the activities from our Green Tech curriculum. Using colorful popsicle sticks, feathers, pipe cleaners and more, they designed their own turbines, then measured the energy it generated to see if they could top the winner so far.
Gartner attendees also created their own light-up pin with batteries, pipe cleaners and LED lights from our Garage Robotics curriculum and selected objects to print on our MakerBot 3D printer.
