Congratulations Haunt the Internet Winners!
For October, we asked you to use your code-hacking skills to transform the web by remixing a JavaScript bookmarklet with Thimble! We got a ton of interesting bookmarklets from all over the country ranging from spooky to hilarious! Thank you to everyone who submitted a remixed bookmarklet!
Our Grand Prize
Earning the MicroProject Winner Badge and a $60 gift card to Best Buy for their squad is Black Cat Takeover! by lori826 from Halsey's Mouse Squad in Rego Park, New York. lori826 not only did an excellent job of creating a landing page with orange and black color scheme to celebrate Halloween but also found unique gifs and images for the bookmarklet and included a helpful screenshot in the original post. Our First Runner Up
Our first runner up, receiving a Papertronics Lunar Module for their squad is KAITO IS BOOTIFUL by CATBUS8o_O from Jags 2015 in Salem, Oregon. CATBUS8o_O also did a great job of remixing the landing page by changing the font style and the background color to blue. CATBUS8o_O used html lists in the blog post and gave suggestions on where to use the bookmarklet. Awesome work CATBUS8o_O and Jags 2015!
Our Second Runner Up
Our second Runner Up (also receiving a Papertronics Lunar Module) is Werewolf Takeover: Don't let them bite you!! by karen826 from Halsey's Mouse Squad (How did they get so good!). karen826 had really great gifs and remixed the landing page for her bookmarklet considerably.
