NYC Computer Science Fundamentals K-5 Workshop

Our CS Fundamentals workshop prepares K-5 educators to teach computer science basics using Code.org’s Computer Science Fundamentals curriculum. CS Fundamentals is designed to be fun and engaging and blends online and "unplugged" non-computer activities to teach students computational thinking, problem solving, programming concepts and digital citizenship.

Licensed NY state educators will receive a 6.5 hours CTLE pedagogy and content certificate upon completion of workshop.

When: Saturday, April 6 from 9:00AM - 4:00PM

: Any educators working with students in grades K-5.

What
Else: Please bring photo ID, computer (no tablets), charger, and headphones. Lunch provided!
