Mouse Awarded $200,000 Grant from Best Buy Children's Foundation

Mouse is honored to receive a $200,000 grant from The Best Buy Children’s Foundation!

Over the past ten years,The Best Buy Children’s Foundation has been an integral partner to Mouse, providing expertise and more than $2 million in critical funding, as well as partnering with Mouse to provide teens from underserved communities with places and opportunities to develop technology skills that will inspire future education and career choices.

Grants from the Best Buy's Children Foundation have helped to fund and expand Mouse programs, impacting thousands of youth across the country.

With this grant, Mouse will develop enhancements to its curriculum, which will be used by the Geek Squad Summer Academy and the Best Buy Teen Tech Centers. At these tech centers, students have the opportunity after school to explore innovative technologies and advance 21st century skills.

This year, we will continue our partnerships with Best Buy Teen Tech Centers in the Little Black Pearl Charter School in Chicago, the Miami Science Museum in Miami, the Family Service Association in San Antonio, and the Hennepin County Library in Minneapolis/ St. Paul.

Our huge thanks to the Best Buy Children's Foundation for providing Mouse youth with new and exciting opportunities to learn, lead, and create with technology.
