Mouse Corps Presenting at ISTE, IDC and National Charter Schools Conference

Our Mouse Corps will be on the road this summer, presenting their technology design projects at exciting conferences including ISTE, Interactive Design for Children Conference and the National Charter School Conference.

ISTE’s Annual Conference is the premier event to learn, exchange and survey the field of educational technology and attracts more than 18,000 attendees worldwide. Four Mouse Corps members will be presenting at the Student Showcase and participating in a student forum for the Special Interest Group: Innovative Learning Technologies (SIGILT). This forum is one of ISTE’s largest special interest groups and will involve students sharing their perspective on how technology is being used in their education and empowering their learning.

The Interactive Design for Children (IDC) Conference is the premiere annual international conference for the top minds in academia and industry to share the latest research findings, innovative methodologies and new technologies in the areas of inclusive child-centered design, learning and interaction. On June 23rd, Mouse Corps teens will lead hands-on activities at IDC that engage participants in aspects of our technology design program.

The National Charter Schools Conference is the largest gathering of the national charter school movement. As Mouse continues to grow its presence in Charter Schools, we are thrilled to have four of our students lead a panel entitled “Student Voices: Effective Tech Integration in Charter Schools.” Our students will provide their thoughts on the state of technology integration in schools and ways that school leaders can improve the use of technology to enhance learning.
