Project Description: ven.sure.out is an app that addresses transportation challenges and location accessibility concerns of wheelchair-users. Similar to Google Maps, users can submit real time reviews of places with specific concern to the accessibility of entrances, bathrooms, elevators etc, as well as temporary issues and blockages due to construction.
Project 2: Teacher Tutor
Students Presenting: Raeesah I., Thalia C., Artemis C.
Link to Emoti-Con page: https://virtual.emoti-con.org/projects/82/
Project Description: Our project is an app that gives information to teachers based on applications they are using. Once we had to start learning remotely due to COVID-19, we noticed that a lot of teachers do not know how to use remote learning devices and websites, because they never have had to before. Our goal is to help educate these teachers on how to teach their students and how to use certain websites and tools.
Project 3: The College Times
Students Presenting: Mehereen M., Andy L., Sam S.
Link to Emoti-Con page: https://virtual.emoti-con.org/projects/85/
Project Description: A web app designed for high school students that aggregates information about navigating the new twists and turns of applying for college, researching colleges and visiting colleges in the time of Covid-19.
