City Council member Joe Borelli is supporting this half-day PD for Educators to learn more about our Green Tech Course. This course is all about sustainable technology. Youth build electricity generators, make batteries with everyday materials, and add solar panels to electric toys in order to better navigate the science behind eco-friendly technology. Youth will also experiment to lower their carbon footprint at their school and lead an action campaign with their findings.

The PD will be held at I.S. 34 on December 4th, from 9:30am - 1:30pm.

The half-day PD will feature hands-on workshops led by Mouse staff, opportunities to network with new and experienced Mouse Educators, and lunch will be served.
