Tri-State Ford is sponsoring this half-day PD for Educators to learn more about our brand new Sewable Tech Course. This Course combines STEM learning with artistic expression and crafting. Research shows that learning circuitry through a STEAM lens engages a wider audience than traditional circuit design and improves learner outcomes! In this 9-project course, students will learn to embed circuitry directly into fabric-- creating soft circuits, fabric switches and sewable sensors. The course will culminate in a final project that students will sew and program to help them set and achieve goals.

The PD will be held at St. Joseph High School, located at 80 Willoughby Street Brooklyn, NY 11201, on February 27th, from 8:30am-12:00pm.

The half-day PD will feature hands-on workshops led by Mouse staff, opportunities to network with other Mouse Educators, and breakfast will be served.
