Introducing the Mouse Creative Computing Lab

Mouse is opening pre-registration for the first two events at our Creative Computing Lab. Lab events offer interactive and engaging STEM, design and computing activities which blend digital/analog tools and experiences. These events are open to NYC public school students who want to experiment and build with technology in new ways.

The first event on Wednesday, October 30, Costume Tech, sponsored by NYCEDC, will give your students the chance to amplify their Halloween gear with lights, sound and more. Please note that this event is for Elementary students grades 3-5 only.

Middle and high school students, join us on November 20 for the Robot Election, a one-of-a-kind team design and engineering challenge. Compete in real time to design, build, promote and elect a robot leader at the Creative Computing Lab.

The Mouse Creative Computing Lab is a space for innovation and experimentation at Mouse HQ in NYC. By playing with a variety of digital, analog and environmental inputs and outputs, the lab will be a place where youth and adult experts can design and explore interactive computing together at free learning events throughout the school.

Events at the Mouse Creative Computing Lab are free and open to all who want a space to tinker, build, and learn cool stuff. Prior experience in tech or making is not required!

Join us! All experience levels are welcome!
